Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski is a fashion designer, appointed creative director of Hermès in 2014. Vanhee-Cybulski is a graduate of Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, and the French Institute of Fashion where she received an in-depth education in her craft. Upon graduating, she worked for numerous contemporary brands including Delvaux, Céline and Maison Martin Margiela before landing the first big break of her career - designing for The Row, the Olsen twins’ fashion label. In July 2014 it was announced that she would become creative director of Hermès. Her appointment for this role initiated the cult of the “quiet designer”, and Vanhee-Cybulski’s lowkey approach to her career and personal life is seen as admirable and intriguing. She continues to design for Hermès today.
